About Us

A Philadelphia resource hub for children and families.

Linked Family Services (LFS), is a 501c3 tax-exempt charitable nonprofit organization servicing the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. We are truly vested in the betterment of this city.

As we continue to expand, we look to provide programming and services that: directly impacts diaper and food insecurities; encourages childhood literacy; promotes maternal/paternal health in the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community; and encourages the strengthening of family units and households.

We hope to have your support as we take our place in the Philadelphia community to serve!

MISSION

Our mission is to ensure that children and families are connected to and have equal access to essential resources and opportunities.

VISION

A a city where each generation of parents embraces learning skills and building tools to be better for their children; where each child is afforded opportunities to quality education, healthcare, mental healthcare, and more; and breaking generational curses within families is the norm, rather than the exception.

Message from our Founder & Executive Director

Hello Philadelphia!

I hope you have come to visit this website with a feeling of hope and a spirit of optimism. I know that right now what you're facing may seem endless. There is a light, however- and my hope is that LFS can help you find that spark. You've already taken this first step toward advocating for yourself and family- that is to be applauded!

Throughout my career working in the field of child welfare/human services, I have been able to foster countless connections for children and families in the city of Philadelphia, PA by hosting support groups, family events, and resource fairs.

These things are what I do and love because of my own personal experiences. I am no stranger to the struggle of supporting my family on a low income; or to having trouble navigating the mental/behavioral health or medical systems for a child or adult relative in my life; or to the frustrations of being denied certain services because my pay stub reflected something different from my reality.

I have been fortunate to be able to intertwine my trade (social work) with my entrepreneurial aspirations, and work toward building healthy relationships for parents and their children.
